Even though the CHARMING project ended more than a year ago, its researchers have been still collaborating to produce the Virtual Reality training prototype “Operate Your Own Reactor”.
Our researchers, Sofia Garcia Fracaro (Merck), Yusra Tehreem (University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer), Ryo Toyoda (Newcastle University) and Tim Gallagher (Utrecht University) used an immersive technology, namely VR, to take chemical operator training to a different level, as they aim for an innovative approach in this field.
