As part of the II Latin America MCAA Conference “Scientific collaboration in Pandemic Times”, an informational session was offered to all those interested in learning how to benefit from the European Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) by carrying out a PhD, a Post-doctorate or a research project of a consortium formed by several European and international institutions.
The info session “New MSCA: what’s in it for mobile researchers and institutions?” included a detailed explanation of the MSCA opportunities under Horizon Europe, of the MSCA National Contact Points, and of what EURAXESS can offer for researchers.
Following these presentations, the agenda also included Testimonials of Latin American and Caribbean researchers who secured MSCA fundings. In this section, our CHARMING researcher Sofia Garcia Fracaro shared her experience as a MSCA PhD. researcher in Europe. She described to the audience how the recruitment process of the CHARMING project was carried out, what a European Training Network is, all the fantastic training opportunities offered, as well as her experience doing an Industrial PhD.
