Charming ETN keeps doing what sounds unusual! A summer school on Science and Engineering Education by Immersive Learning took place in Leuven together with the second Network Wide Event of Charming ETN project. Early-stage researchers (ESRs) presented their research work and conducted interesting discussions with experts from different disciplines.
The fundamental aim of this Summer School was to bring Ph.D. students, postdocs and more senior scientists together to learn and discuss Science & Engineering Education by Immersive Learning. Training in the areas of innovative chemical engineering, instructional psychology & pedagogy, and immersive technology were taken place to enhance interactivity among inter-disciplinary topics.
A very interesting talk entitled ‘’Games can change the world’’ was given by Tim Laning, the founder of Grendel Games.
